In June, we had a ribbon cutting for iHeart Hudson Valley’s Market located within Mamba’s Creations at Fulton Street. Since 2021, Mamba’s Creations and iHeartHudsonValley.com have been collaborating on several projects under the banner of Heart & Soul Productions. The events include the New Moon Harvest Festival and the Jolly Holiday Market. During winter 2022, they created an indoor multi-vendor market with weekly photos with Santa from Small Business Saturday though Christmas Eve with a focus on offering new vendors each week to give local crafters a fair shot at holiday revenue. The Jolly Holiday Market was held in the space left empty by Washingtonville Pharmacy. It was great success and many of the shoppers and vendors asked if it would continue.
During the early part of 2023, Mamba’s Creations renovated and iHeart Hudson Valley Market moved in. The space now has the original yarn shop and crochet corner on one side with a multi-vendor market of handmade creations from Hudson Valley artisans as well as a micro-cafe which will feature a curated collection of local coffees, teas, pastries etc. as well as a weekly rotation of lunchbox grab-n-go’s from emerging chefs in the Hudson Valley.
To increase foot traffic to the Fulton Square businesses, iHeart Hudson Valley Market is offering weekly crafting events and family fun nights.
