DESCRIPTION:It’s that time again! Our 2nd annual New Moon Harvest Festival is happening on October 8th\, 2023.  MOVED DUE TO RAIN.\n  \n  \nJoin us this year for our:\n\nPie Baking Contest\nMini concert featuring Chris Raabe and Jason Gisser\nOur Artisan Vendor Market\n\nVIP Music Lounge\nCHRIS RAABE – Start Time 1:45 pm \nHudson Valley’s very own “Guitar Hero”\, Chris Raabe\, has been moving and entertaining audiences for over a decade. This passionate artist has roots in genres of Soul and Rock however\, when it comes to the Blues Chris is in a league of his own. Time and time again he delivers soulful and colorful performances that keep his listeners on the edge of their seats. Chris captivates his listeners with harmonious guitar playing and unique vocal qualities. Gathering influence from an array of different artists and genres\, Chris has developed his own unique sound. His music offers a front-row seat to blues-based emotions further revealing his message that music is spiritual and has the power to influence and transport the listener. \n  \n\nJASON GISSER – Start Time 4:15 pm \nInfluenced by Funk\, Soul\, n Rock\, Jason plays music you feel with powerful vocals. He is the lead singer of the Jason Gisser Band as well as the President of Soul Mouth Radio. \n\n\n  \n  \nPLUS Enter Our Pie Baking Contest\n \nOur pie baking contest is back with a new second category! \nWhile our good friends Guilty Pleasures Cheesecakes will be our celebrity judges for the main event (winner gets to be showcased in their store for a week)\, the Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson\, Inc. has stepped in with a special category. \nRules for Judges’ Choice:\n\n\nAll pies must be solely made and baked by the entrant.\nYou must not be a professional baker\nPies must have at least one main ingredient sourced locally. You will be required to tell us what you used and where it was sourced.\nAll pies should be baked either the same day or less than 24 hrs before the contest. Please bring them to the festival by 12:30 to check in and be included in the contest.\nThe entrance fee for the contest is $10.\nWhat do you get?\nBesides bragging rights for a year\, you get: \n\nYour pie featured in Guilty Pleasures Cheesecakes Shop for a week\nFeature spotlight on ihearthudsonvalley.com\n\n\n\nRules for Girls Scouts:\n \n\nAll pies must be solely made and baked by the entrant.\nContestants must be a current Girl Scouts.\nPie has to be made using GS cookie as ingredients OR inspired by the flavors (Chocolate & Mint/Lemon/Shortbread/Coconut\, Chocolate & Caramel…pick your fave!)\nAll pies should be baked either the same day or less than 24 hrs before the contest.
