About the Blooming Grove Chamber
Christmas Parade.

The Blooming Grove Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade has been delighting the Blooming Grove and Washingtonville area since 2012. In that time it has expanded to a countywide and beyond event pulling in entrants from all over. As a vehicle only parade that happens at night the first week in December, the decorations have been getting better and better and draw crowds in the thousands to come out and watch.

In 2024, we are so excited to announce some exciting changes to our parade! Not only will we be hosting an after party as a thank you to all after the parade, but the parade will also be a competition with trophies and awards from our community to the winners!  The following categories for vehicles and floats are:

• Best Decorated Municipality

• Best Decorated Private Company

• Best Decorated Individual

• Most Creative and Best Lighting

• Additionally, we will hold a best decorated house in the village.

Along with prizes and awards for each category, we will have musical floats, and a pre-show in the center of town to kick it all off!

Don’t miss this year’s Blooming Grove Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade on December 7th at 6pm starting at L Vern Allen Park, travelling down Route 94 (Main St) ending at WV High School. Santa will make his appearance on the Monell Firetruck and help light the tree in the center of town.

Timeline for the Day

The Washingtonville Events Committee will have a day of fun activities for all with their Very Victorian Whoville Event. Check out the line up here.

5:30 Parade Preshow 
Our pre-show this year will happen right in the center of town on Rt 94. It will kick off around 5:30 at Amada’s Kitchen  with the St. Anastasia Church Chilean Dancers. At around 6:50 they will move to the middle to the street to kick off our pre-show there.

Next at 6pm will come M’Lanie Hunter Dance Troup from Chester.

Finally, we will finish the show with the Matt Hernandez Dance Troup also from Chester.

The Chris Rabbe Band will be performing in the lot beside Amada’s Kitchen.
