ALMA D GONZALEZ
Description
An entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in small business development, Alma began her career in the mid-1990s as a startup specialist for a venture capitalist. She worked with an angel investor as an internet startup specialist through the tech boom and helped developed nearly 50 small businesses. In 2001, Alma switched to small business development and has owned, operated and/or developed over 10 small businesses prior to 2018. In 2019, Alma moved to Washingtonville and is currently operating 3 local businesses: Mamba’s Creations (a crochet craft store), Mamba’s Fiesta (a flower/gift shop), and Mamba’s Moves (a dance program).
Alma received a Bachelor in Business Arts from Baruch College, and an MBA from Mercy College and is currently pursuing a doctorate at Northcentral University. She joined the BGCC Board in 2022 and is currently the Treasurer for VFW Auxiliary #8691.
